                   Dog Walking Cancellation Policy

After years of having a very liberal cancellation policy, which was never required to be in writing, a rash of cancellations has forced me to tighten things up.

Please understand that only serious safety or threatening weather conditions will limit the of length of daily walks, or warrant a cancellation by me. While I understand that people become ill, to the extent possible, a 24-hour cancellation notice (within business hours  9:00
a.m. - 5:00 p.m, is expected if you will not be needing services that day).
Failure to provide 24 hour notice will result in an expected payment for that day regardless of whether a walk was provided.

If you are a part time or full time customer with a fixed schedule, and you are canceling because you have decided to:
  • work-from-home
  • take the day off last minute
  • take a long weekend resulting in a Friday/Monday off
this of course is your choice; however, habitual cancellations will result in termination of services, as this is a lost opportunity for me to service someone else who can be depended upon.

I walk dogs Monday through Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
The holidays I take off are:
  • Thanksgiving
  • Christmas
  • New Years
  • Fourth of July
  • Agust 31st

If you are going to be off on a holiday please let me know in advance that you will not be needing services.
