(Puppy 911 is designed to help new puppies and their families to get started on the right foot. Whether you're a new puppy owner or it's just been a really long time since you had a puppy in your life, this program is designed to help make the transition smooth.

We offer a 1-hour Consultations (ideally this consult will take place before your puppy comes home) and puppy proofing your home. Following the initial consult we schedule Two 1-hour training sessions, during which we cover common training goals, such as crate training, potty training, and puppy biting, puppy barking, ethological needs based on breed or combination(s) by offering training plans and strategies to address problems before they become bigger issues that carry over into adolescence.

Ideal age: 8 to 12 Weeks (for new puppy owners)

MAIZE

Puppy Manners I
5 Hours-$425

In Puppy Foundations I, we cover a variety of skills and common issues including jumping up on people, impulse control, and bite inhibition. We address these issues using impulse control and brain games, in addition to providing in-home strategies that you can implement in between lessons. By using these proven humane practices, you will be able to reduce and eventually eliminate unwanted behavior.
Expected 5-week curriculum:

How to Sit and lay Down reliably across all environments
Impulse control games to prevent door dashing and jumping
Hand targeting: and you will learn why this skill is important in teaching advanced skills.
How to go to "place", including a relaxation protocol*

NORTH

Puppy Manners II
5 Hours-$425

In Puppy Foundations I, your puppy learned foundation skills to prepare them for advanced Puppy Manners II. These additional skills will build upon the foundation behavior skills your puppy learned as a beginner. At this next level, we will cover a variety of "safety skills".
Expected curriculum 5-week session:

"Stay and Release" from "place"
Loose Leash Walking- your dog will learn to walk on a ‘loose leash’ without the pulling.
Engage/Disengage- your dog will learn to ignore distractions in the environment.
Leave-It- Your dog will learn to ‘leave illegal objects
Reliable Recall - Your dog will learn to come every time they are called.

Ideal age: up to 10 months

SUPER PUPPY PROGRAM

Getting reliable skills takes a lot of work and dedication. If you’re serious about seeing a big changes in your dog’s behavior and skill-set, we offer our Super Dog program – this program is for the puppy owner who wants it ALL!
This is a combined program that includes Puppy 911, and Puppy Manners I & II,
as well as real life opportunities in the community to socialize your puppy correctly. This package includes a clicker, treat pouch, and training manual. You’ll enjoy a discounted rate, training equipment, a teaching manual and seeing positive changes in your dog.
